The Brief

Through a unique partnership with customers and team members, the Cotton On Foundation is focused on empowering youth globally through the delivery of quality educational projects in Uganda, South Africa, Thailand and Australia.

This brief focuses on the research and design of a sponsor platform to support the child sponsorship program of the Cotton On Foundation. This program has been in place for 10 years and supports up to 2770 children with 900 active sponsors. Team members (as well as friends and family) from the Cotton On Group are eligible to be sponsors and the goal of the platform is to drive a strong engagement and participation rate for sponsors with their sponsored child. The must-haves for the platform include:

  • A way for sponsors to manage their own details
  • A way for sponsors to view their sponsored child, including photos over time
  • Functionality to send messages to a child and / or videos (child schools have access to iPads)

Your mentor will guide you every step of the way!
