Graduate Profile – Khanh Tran, Web & Multimedia Designer at Fine Group Organisation
Khanh’s journey to building a job ready UX/UI Design portfolio
With a little experience in web design, Khanh had the creative vision and some technical skills—and was keen to embark on a career as a UX/UI Designer.
Shortly after completing the Harness Projects UX/UI Design Career Launcher Course, she successfully transitioned into UX roles, including positions at Career-Bond and the Center of Excellence for Global Trade & Supply Chain Management and ultimately FG Organization.
During her time at Harness Projects, Khanh worked on three impactful real-world projects, where she;
- designed a comprehensive charitable giving app for 365 Give that fostered community accountability and emotional connection,
- conducted extensive user research for ReWorld to optimize donation experiences and website architecture, and
- led a complete website redesign for Natura Solve (who have returned for another project this upcoming intake) that enhanced credibility and streamlined the purchasing process.
These weren’t theoretical exercises—they involved real clients, real users, and real business outcomes that directly shaped her approach to user-centered design.
